Our glass flower vase wholesale client is a mid-sized interior décor studio based in the Netherlands, supplying curated home styling pieces to concept stores and project-based interiors such as cafés and boutique hotels. Challenges
During the early wholesale phase, the studio encountered two realistic issues:

Cause Analysis
Mosteb’s production and QC teams carried out a detailed review. We found that the previous supplier’s mold wear was not regularly corrected, leading to cumulative size deviation. In addition, standard export packaging did not sufficiently protect the heavier base during pallet transport.
To address this, we inspected mold tolerance data, reviewed annealing stability, and simulated transport vibration to identify weak pressure points in packaging.
Solution
- Reworked the mold maintenance schedule and introduced batch-level dimensional checks.
- Optimized the annealing curve to stabilize base thickness and overall height.
- Upgraded to reinforced bottom-support packaging, designed specifically for thick-base vases.
- Added pre-shipment inspection reports so the client could approve consistency before dispatch.
Result
After these adjustments, the Dutch studio achieved stable sizing across wholesale batches and reduced transit damage by over 85%.
