Our client, a premium candle brand based in Denmark, sought to develop a new line of small candle holders tailored for their minimalist yet luxury collections. They wanted holders that were lightweight, durable, and consistent in appearance to reflect their design philosophy. 2. Challenge
Small candle holders may appear simple to produce, however, the correct difficulty lies in the tolerance sensitivity of the small scale glass -made substance. In small dimensions, even minus deviations in mold accuracy are also increased, often leading to uneven wall thickness, incorrect openings, or micro -irregularities that compromise both aesthetics and functionality.
3. Cause Analysis
Our technical team conducted a detailed study and identified the main issue: alignment of the subtle level of molds during high -temperature glass shaping. Because small holders have low tolerance margins, slightly mold miscaliation resulted in inconsistent rim diameter and wall distribution. To solve this, we invested important efforts to re -organize the mold surfaces, test several test runs and maintain continuous communication with the customer to ensure alignment with their visual and functional expectations.

4. Solution
To overcome these challenges, our team implemented the following measures:
- High-coted mold engineering-we refined molds with micron-level adjustment to reduce dimensional errors.
- The advanced process was added to real-time thermal and pressure control when making glass to reduce monitoring-wall-loop variation.
- Hard quality check – Each production batch was sample and measured against strict tolerance benchmarks.
- The prototype of the initial phase was jointly reviewed with the customer to secure approval before increasing the collaborative prototype-production.
5. Result
The final product achieved remarkable stability in all batches, with smooth finish, thickness of a uniform wall and perfectly aligned rims. The Danish Client successfully launched its new candle holder collection, which received a strong market response to its refined elegance and reliability.
