The collaboration of decorative diffuser bottles vendor became very crucial to a fragrance research institute in Lyon, France, which focuses on the scent development and olfactory testing on the high end home fragrance use. The institute contracted Mosteb to design decorative bottles of the form of the diffuser to be utilized in internal formulation tests and also in demonstrations to the clients.
They demanded a 200 ml clear glass diffuser bottle, which is cylindrical in shape, has fine vertical etched lines, and a natural wood stopper that lets reeds of the standard type fit. This design was selected as a compromise between beauty and neutrality, the lines that were etched made it hard to see any fingerprints, and the form would not draw the attention of the participants when it came to smelling the bottle. They selected Mosteb due to our level of customization at the factory level, technical efficiency of communication, and experience in supporting applications of professional fragrances as opposed to retail application.

- Poor surface finishes that were used in the past: The institute had collaborated with other decorative diffuser bottle sellers before though surface treatments differed significantly across batches. Disproportionate etching influenced visual consistency in comparative testing sessions as well as diminishing confidence in handing over samples to outside partners.
- Problems of function in long-term test: There were also cases of an unstable base, and non-uniform tolerances of necks in some of the diffuser bottles causing reed to fall out of place and have different evaporation rates during prolonged testing.
Neden Analizi
Our group studied the previous samples and conditions of the testing of the client in detail. We singled out lack of consistency in finishing parameters and lack of tightness in dimensional tolerances as the main problems. In order to address this, we examined etching depth, neck accuracy, and base weight distribution and correlated it to the institute requirements of the functional requirements of use in long term.

- Fixed processing time and depth etching processes with standardization.
- Improved mold definitions to maintain the same neck, vertical.
- Add a little thickness to the base to enhance stability on the laboratory working surface.
- Gave pre-production samples and comprehensive QC information to be approved prior to bulk manufacturing.
Sonuç
The personalized decorative bottles of the diffusers were on time and could easily fit into the research process of the institute. Visual consistency of all units in testing improved, there was an increase in predictability of evaporation behavior and quality of presentation of samples. After this project, the institute affirmed continuous relationship with Mosteb on future diffuser bottle customization programs.
