When a venue for exhibitions in Frankfurt, Germany, required a reliable table vase wholesaler for their events around the year, they turned to the right provider. In 2025, the venue approached Mosteb to create custom-made table vase collections for trade fairs, product launches and corporate events where the presentation was of prime importance.
Client Background
The client was a professional exhibition venue in Frankfurt, and annually hosted international trade shows, corporate events and product launches. Each event was visually different and the venue called for several vase designs that could retain their high value while being handled and transported many times. They ordered Mosteb to come up with three coordinated designs:
- Huge, slender glass vase which is cylindrical in shape with slight vertical optic lines to be used in business exhibitions.
- Banquet style table sets Low and wide-mouth bowl shaped vases with smooth polished rims.
- A smooth, nicely shaped gray vase that stands mid-height and is smoked to present the premium products in a well-polished manner.
The optic lines were made to be vertical in order to increase the refraction of light as the exhibition lighting was on and the smoked finish was included to provide depth in higher-end evening occasions. The different shapes were useful to give a flexible layout of the flora depending on the size of the table and the design.

Challenges
Durability During Repeated Event Use: The vases would also be reused in various events unlike in retail decor where they would have to be transported between storage and venue floors every month. The products of the previous suppliers were microscopic cracks and unstable when handled more than once.
Professionally-lit visual consistency: With tremendous exhibition spotlights, the slightest distortions in glass or the unevenness in wall thickness could be seen very clearly and this influenced the image of the premium venue.
Cause Analysis
Our technical team was analyzing sample returns and have determined two underlying problems:
- Normal decorative glass was not designed to be transported repeatedly and to be used on a high frequency.
- Poor calibration of the moulds resulted in slight differences in thickness that were apparent in bright light.
In order to overcome these issues, we have performed structural stress simulations, and also optimized the tolerances of the molds to enhance durability and optical clarity.
Solution
Strengthened base designs and wall thickness ratio to improve durability without adding too much weight.
Stricter dimensional tolerance control during production to achieve optical consistency.
The staged annealing additions to enhance structural stability and alleviate internal stress were introduced.
Purchasing protective wholesale package designed with inserts that are compartmentalized to help in repeated storage and transportation.
Arranged progressively timed delivery in accordance with yearly exhibition of the venue.
Result
Once approved, Mosteb went ahead and finished the production and delivery as per the exhibition plan. Consistent appearance and function, the customized table vases are used again and again in different events.The display of visual consistency was enhanced in the spotlight conditions, which made the venue look more professional. Mosteb would remain their direct wholesaler of table vases, which would be useful in the subsequent cycles of events through routine bulk orders.
