During the development phase two big problems arose.
- Achieving Consistent Modern Design Across Multiple Vase Sizes
The client asked for a set of table vases that had soft round lines, transparent glass with a smoky hue, and a vertical pattern on the vases, as these were in vogue in contemporary interiors. The issue was to give the brand a consistent image at various heights and capacities.
The vertical textures had to be left in their original positions without being distorted, and a smoke gray tone had to be set to be consistent in a variety of lighting situations. The curved body design also necessitated careful control of the thickness of the glass to ensure that the glass does not cool or bend unevenly during production.
Precise mould engineering and strict process control was required to ensure the consistency of aesthetics, stability of structure and colour uniformity.
- Improving Durability for Commercial Interior Use
The vases were designed for use in hotel, office and showroom projects, which called for greater durability than normal home décor products. Specific requests from client included bottom bases to be thicker and reinforced neck areas to prevent breakage during transport and while in use.
But it can be difficult to balance the vase if it gets thicker at some points. While providing a premium decorative appearance and enhancing impact resistance and longevity became a major technical challenge.

Mosteb took an approach of design refinement and manufacturing optimization to meet these challenges.
The mold design and cooling were modified to ensure uniform texture alignment and consistent gray coloration of the smoke in all sizes of vases. Our engineering department also worked on optimizing thickness distribution of the glass for durability without compromising on the elegance.
Furthermore, drop resistance and stability testing were performed to ensure that the vases would meet the requirements of their commercial use and of international shipment.
Keeping the client updated on the project, the sample feedback, production advances and inspection reports were kept in closer touch with the client during the project to ensure that all the requirements are fulfilled.
The final products put together an ideal blend of style, durability, and consistent production quality that enabled the client to complete several interior design projects on time.
