Background
The brand of high quality perfumes approached Mosteb with the idea to create a custom large candle glass jar for creating their own luxury scented candle line in Greece.
The client sought a unique bottle to set its products apart from others in the stores where they would be sold. A sophisticated design was chosen with the raised diamond pattern to add to the overall value of the completed candle and to create a sophisticated look.
The design involved complex glass molding and a need to replicate the texture consistently, which meant the client had to find a manufacturing partner with the necessary expertise to ensure the product’s aesthetic appeal and production reliability.

Challenge
There were a number of technical difficulties in creating a large candle glass jar that had a raised raised diamond pattern.
The geometric shape of the pieces demanded a high level of precision in the engineering of the molds to capture all the sharp details of the design in each batch of the production run.
There were also some manufacturing risks for the project:
- The disparity in glass distribution in the patterned regions
- Defects on the surface due to failure to fill the mold
- Distortion caused by the pattern cooling during the cooling stage
- This is because the mold is complicated to make, and production efficiency is reduced
The client needed a solution that would be both visually accurate and permit large scale production with consistency.

Our Solution
Our engineering team analyzed the design requirements and prepared a production plan based on that design.
Mold Optimization
The mold structure was adjusted to achieve better glass flow, and ensure the diamond pattern can be repeated throughout the glass surface of the entire jar.
Prototype Development
Multiple rounds of samples were crafted and tested prior to approval. At this phase, we made adjustments to:
- Pattern depth
- Surface definition
- Wall thickness
- Overall visual balance
The final look was designed through close liaison with the client, ensuring that it added to the high-end image of the candle collection.
Production Process
Control We applied pattern optimization for mass production:
- Glass forming parameters
- Cooling and annealing processes
- Mold maintenance schedules
- Quality inspection procedures
All productions were quality checked for clarity of pattern and surface quality before shipping.
Results
It was accomplished and the candle jar was sold off as a new section of the client’s luxury candle collection, the work was diamond pattern.
Final product that was delivered:
- A sharp and distinct diamond texture.
- Premium visual presentation
- Strong structural durability
- Guarantees consistency in production in large orders
The newly packaged product further reinforced the luxury image of the brand and was well received by the retailers and consumers.
The client also collaborated with Mosteb in the manufacturing of fragrance packaging for future projects, thus forming a long-term partnership with the brand.
