도전 과제
Challenge 1: Maintaining Consistency Across Projects
The studio was looking for the same vase design to work out on multiple residential and hospitality projects. Any minor differences in size, wall thickness or surface detail could alter the visual balance if products were installed side by side.
Challenge 2: More Smooth Surface Stability
The vases were set on level surfaces, like marble or polished wood. The design had to be sufficiently heavy and have stable contact to prevent sliding or tipping, while still appearing to be light and aesthetically pleasing.

Previous production samples were analysed by our engineering team and they determined that variations in the wall thickness and inadequate base weight were the two primary factors that had an impact on the stability and appearance of the product. To overcome this, we made an analysis of the weight distribution and mold tolerances. The team also reviewed the studio’s previous supplier issues, particularly inconsistent surface finishing between production batches.

- Mold Optimization: The structure of the mold was modified to keep the thickness of each wall even and to enhance dimensional accuracy in mass production.
- Base Optimization: The base was adjusted to improve weight distribution and stability while preserving the low-profile minimalist appearance.
- 품질 관리: Batch inspection was added to ensure stability, surface finish and size prior to shipment.
- Sample Approval: Client approval of pre-production samples before being produced in full scale production.
결과
The successful delivery enabled the design studio to provide its table decor solution for five interior projects and minimize the installation problems that would have been caused by unstable decorative products. Client claimed he had better efficiency in installations, no complaints of instabilities, and increased visual cohesion, which made him place repeat orders of wholesales of future design seasons.
