1. Context
A high quality French essential oil company contacted Mosteb to create a bespoke drive-in fragrance perfume bottle for their growing line of perfume for vehicles. The customer had requirements for packaging that would be suitable to the sophistication of its brand, but also provide good performance within the vehicle under varying environmental conditions.
The solution demanded a blend of good design, sturdiness and uniform fragrance dispersion, which were provided by a glass building.A glass building provided elegant design, strength and uniform fragrance dispersion, all of which were required for the project. Following the extensive evaluation of multiple packaging suppliers, our expertise in custom glass packaging development, flexible manufacturing, and our quality control system were key factors as our client chose to work with Mosteb.

2. Challenge
The main challenge was ensuring that the glass could tolerate changes in extreme temperature inside the car. In summer, high heat can weaken the structure, while in winter, low temperatures can increase brittleness. Without proper conversion and production techniques, there will be a risk of cracking bottles under these conditions.

3. Result
The final custom car diffuser perfume bottle had completed all the internal thermal resistance and durability testing before being mass produced. The sample was evaluated, and the design was approved by the customer, so full-scale production was done. Bottle delivered at completion:

- Greater temperature protection in vehicles, such as cars and trucks.

The project enhanced the product positioning with high value car perfumes and ensured packaging reliability for the long term.

4. How We Did It
- Pre-production planning: Our engineering team analyzed environmental stress factors and recommended a high status glass composition.
- Sample Production: Testing samples were produced and sent to the customer for response. Based on their evaluation, we refined the design to further improve thermal stability.
- Cost adaptation and production: During mass production, we implemented strict quality control and provided regular progress updates. This ensures timely distribution, coherent performance and customer satisfaction without compromising efficiency.
